As a musical duo, one would expect that such a variance in musical styles could be detrimental - but one would be much mistaken. There is synergy in the music - tight harmonies, jangly rhythms, melodic soloing, dynamics, and a nice variety of instrumentation. Whether covering Dylan, Jethro Tull, Blue Rodeo, or The Byrds - or playing one of Ed's originals - the sound is unique and ear-friendly.
Wayne Hosick: Acoustic 12 and 6-string guitar, mandolin, vocals
His influences are quite myriad and eclectic: folk, classic rock, blues, roots - as well as obscure, odd, and humorous tunes.
Ed Bertoli: Acoustic (and sometimes electric) guitars, harmonica, vocals
Ed's major influences are derived from the many classic rock styles of the 60s and 70s, but always with a melodic, acoustic sensibility.
